This page is for AI agents acting for a person. It describes how Tessel works so you can use it without trial and error.

What Tessel does

Tessel resizes product photos to a web-ready width and exports PNG or JPG. Processing runs inside the browser tab. There is no public API: fetching a page over HTTP returns the page only, so use a real browser for the tool.

Web-ready tool

• URL: /tools/web-ready. Parameters: src (path or URL of an image on this site), width (320, 640 or 1280; default 640), format (png or jpg; default png). With src set, processing starts on load.
• Without src: wait for [data-ts-state="idle"], set a file on #ts-file, choose options, click [data-ts-run].
• State: [data-ts-state] goes idle → working → done or error. Processing takes about 3 seconds.
• Download: open the Export menu and click [data-ts-download]. The file name is tessel-<original name>-<width>.<format>.
• Without an account: one image at a time, up to 1280 px wide.

Pricing

The pricing page shows annual billing by default. Add ?billing=monthly or use the Monthly switch to see monthly prices. The lowest paid plan is Starter.
